## About Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor

Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor is the cost-efficient contributor tier of Meta's multimodal reasoning model. Meta built it for experimentation, learning, and early-stage agentic, multi-agent, and coding workflows. It became available in September 2026.

Data use: with this model, Meta also uses your prompts and the model's responses for training, in addition to free-pi's standard data use (see the [privacy policy](https://freepi.ai/privacy)).

The model accepts text, image, video, and file input and produces text. Its context window is about one million tokens and a response can be up to about 940,000 tokens. It supports reasoning with an effort setting, tool calling, and structured outputs. With tool calling, the free-pi agent can read and edit files, run commands, and use free-pi's built-in web search and documentation lookup tools.

In free-pi it is free to use with no API key and no card. It counts as about 0.5x usage.

## When to pick it

For a multimodal model that accepts images, video, and files at about 0.5x allowance, and where you accept that Meta also uses your prompts and responses for training, pick Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor.

For Meta's coding-focused model, pick [Muse Spark Open](https://freepi.ai/models/muse-spark-open), which is a premium model that uses allowance faster.
